I’m delighted to share Melbaโs Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).
We want all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples to have access to, and be able to participate in, every aspect of life.
We also want to support self-determination and provide culturally appropriate support services responsive to the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples with disabilities.
Our workforce will also strengthen as we strive to include more Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees.
Our RAP has been endorsed by Reconciliation Australia and is our second in the Reflect stage. This is the first part of a four-stage RAP framework, and in the coming years, we will continue the RAP process.
I invite you to come with us on our shared reconciliation journey.
