Melba’s Arthur Creative Ballarat

Melba’s Arthur Creative is based in beautiful Ballarat and offers a range of arts-based workshops for both emerging and established artists living with disability.

These inclusive, artist-led sessions provide a space for creative expression, allowing people to explore their unique artistic voice while building skills and confidence in their chosen art forms.

Beyond the studio, Arthur Creative offers artists opportunities to display and sell their work at local events, festivals, and gallery pop ups. These events provide invaluable exposure and a chance for artists to engage with the community.

Arthur Creative also hosts its own pop up markets, where the talent and hard work of its artists is celebrated and rewarded through the sale of their original products.

Arthur Creative caters to a wide variety of interests

By supporting artists in their creative journeys, Arthur Creative opens doors to artistic growth and professional development, helping people pursue their dreams and potentially establish careers in the arts. Whether someone is just beginning to explore their creativity or seeking to advance an artistic career, Arthur Creative provides the guidance and support to thrive.

I enjoyed performing at the end-of-year showcase and was interviewed by the local newspaper. I was involved with helping to set up the market for Arthur’s social enterprise, which I love to do. I was also interviewed by the ABC at the South Street performance, and I did a choreography to Born this Way by Lady Gaga.
