Melba NDIS Family Forums
We are pleased to invite you to a forum Melba is holding for individuals and families about the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). While the NDIS has been a welcome change which has delivered the additional funding individuals and families need, we also understand that it has not been simple or straight forward. For some people, it has involved significant challenges.
We will be holding two forums in Ballarat and Lilydale on the following dates:
Ballarat NDIS Forum
Wednesday 16th October, 3pm to 4.30pm
Melba, 602 Urquhart Street, Ballarat
Lilydale NDIS Forum
Tuesday 15th October 2019, 3pm – 4:30pm
Stringybark Room, Building LA, Box Hill Institute, Jarlo Drive, Lilydale
Melba would appreciate hearing your thoughts at our upcoming forum. As Melba provides NDIS services to you, or has assisted you in some way with your transition to the NDIS, your feedback is important to us and can help us in the future.
Topics and questions to be covered include:
• How has the transition to the NDIS gone?
• The NDIS planning process including pre-planning reviews and new plans
• Support Coordination – what works and what doesn’t?
• Are you getting the NDIS services funding you require?
• Are we meeting your needs and can we assist further?
At Melba, we aim to deliver the very best services – you already know how important that is to us! This forum is a wonderful opportunity to hear directly from you about whether the NDIS is working for you, how we are supporting you, and what more we could potentially be doing to assist you.
